If you want my brutal opinion (and it is just my opinion) don’t waste any time on this, sorry but Wolseley will not pump endless money at PartsCenter, you either want it to work or you don’t so stop griping about them.

Buy from them or don’t, the choice is yours, they (Wolseley ;)) are too big to care.

I do not receive any mailshots from Parts Center like Connect do sending monthly special deals etc? Have they given up on that as well? What about their ‘Cash Back’ scheme, has that died too?

Last time that I called the (national I think) call-centre in Burnley, they told me that they were just doing boilers ❓

Nah, I just rung them, and they gave me the price for a oven element 😕

He actually told a punter some time back that he really didn’t know what he was doing ( Lancelot that is, not GB) but at the same time gave him the information to effect a repair.

Twas a guy that had replaced his own bearings on a Hotpoint WM; and he said that it was still noisey.

So I said that he’d made a mess of it, or he had a loose concreate weight. And it was a loose weight, so he said…

“Despite your aspersions on my abilities… you’re still my hero, because the lower weight was loose.”
