KeymasterRe: Questions
Kenneth,
Rather than schedule the factory time to do this. How about we look into a silver framed door assy as an alternative spare part, which could be swapped at installation. We can at point of sale show both options and at point of order specify the silver door also! It might put the price up a couple of euros.
That way the guys pick up some free spares as they remove the white one?

KeymasterThat’s what I was thinking, elegant solution.

I just superimposed (on the photo that is 😉 ) a silver door on a white cabinet and it looks cr&p 🙁 , so I suggest CHROME the only asthetically pleasing alternative, now that does look good

Yes Martin, Chrome (effect) is what I meant, hence the Miele comments.

I tryed that once with the Bosch. One of the model, I can’t remember which, had the same door as the Siemens.
I’d collected alot of Siemens chrome doors (that looked fantastic) and everytime I sold a Bosch, I offered the customer a chrome door for a tenner extra.
I gave up after a while because everyone said no! Did I over-price it?

Are there plans for an intergrated version? This would be very lucrative in our area as there are new apartment blocks popping up everywhere

No
£10 was a very fair price for the service on offer. Let’s not undervalue ourselves.

OK, the boss came back whinging, after installing a washer this morning.
Not only was the flex very short, but there was a moulded fixing around the flex, where it fixed onto the mains filter.
So to feed the flex through a worktop, he had to use the flex off the old machine.
He wants to know what the flex will be like on the ‘X’ model.
He’s sugguesting a 8ft flex (not going to happen, right?), which is held on the cabinet with a flex connecter, so it can be easily removed, and threaded through a worktop.
I feel a EU regulation mention comming…

You just answered your own questions GB. 😉
Rules apply I’m afraid and we’ve just got to comply along with everyone else I’m afraid.

I told him that, but he insisted I asked you about it! 🙄
You know what i mean about the flex at the supressor end, right?
The new Bosch are a PITA, because there’s now a big square chunk of plastic moulded around the end of the flex.
Of course, you need a flex grip, but removable ones are best, so flexes can be threaded through worktops. Or maybe the new rule is, they have to be moulded, to stop tampering. 😕

KeymasterCorrect on the final sentence, they are supposed to be moulded.

Hi
I was thinking that some customers might want to buy their new X on credit. Have you any plans for this or would it be left up to individual business to provide?

Apologies if this has been covered, but what exactly is different about this machine from others available on the market that can be attributed directly to your input and requests?
