I was chatting to the “testers” who are about to test the appliance for us, last Thursday. They will only be able to report on failures, not life expectancy. So, as soon as we have failure rates we will share it with you.
Any news on how NDT is going, or will we have to wait until the next meeting?
Should I take the silence as a, yes, don’t know, not telling, or mind your own b****y business. 😉 🙂

KeymasterSorry Jim, we need the machines to test first and since they are now unique… 😉

As soon as the appliances clear customs, we have four going for continous testing, thats the easy bit.
Clearing customs is the hold up, be patient we”ll get there.

I’ve just demonstated my first Ise (blind), and I came back with a few technical questions, that the customer asked me, and I buffed my way though 😕
1. Does the spin reach 1500 revs on the spin only program?
and 2. What is the spin speed on the synthetics program?
As it is 5 ‘o clock on a Friday, there no hurry for the answers whatsoeva!
Ps. Goatboy Senior just installed his first one too, and he said he was impressed 😀 😀 😀

First one going to customer on Monday. 😆
As this is being delivered by my ‘friends’ I have already arranged with the customer to do the installation later that day. This sale was a referral from me. 🙂
One question, I will fill out registration form at the time of this visit. I will put my ISE reference number on the form, do I need to put Star Supplies reference number on as well?

KeymasterGreat stuff Jim! 😀
All I need is the registration card back after the event, it doesn’t have to be filled out there and then, but you will need the serial number.

KeymasterAh, it’s not a download Chris, I mailed it last week but a load of emails bounced. 🙁
I’ll fire it up here in the morning as it’s on my desktop in the office. 😕
This week has NOT been a good IT week for me. 🙁

One very happy customer,
Sorry if I am being a bit thick, which is the serial number the 06-100483-01 in the box, or the 7130081400 at the bottom of the rating label next to the barcode? 🙂
Customer paid basic price, I did mention the possibility of upgrading to the full five year guarantee if done within one month, his wife is in hospital so he wants to discuss it with her. We don’t have any forms yet to accommodate this do we?

KeymasterRe: Questions
the 06 xxxxxx 01 is the serial number Jim.
Remember the 06 is the year and the 01 bit is the month of manufacture.
We dont have any upgrade forms yet Jim. If you let us know (accounts) if they do, we’ll issue you an invoice for £60.00 inc and Cheryl will inform Kilmarnock, to upgrade “indie” our database.

Almost bagged another on Saturday, however the customer decided to have a new armature fitted to her Hotpoint 95630. Its only 21 years old, so not quite run in yet. 😉
She expressed interest in ISE but wanted much more information than the small flyer or I could give her, such as accurate dimensions, and a full spec. I could have told her to have a look at a Beko in the shops but thought better of it. 🙂
She has vowed that this will be the last repair but she says the washer is part of the family. 😯
If you could at least update the machine specs thread to include this information, I could print it out for the moment.
Jim.

Question re Delay Start Fuction
Customer just rang to say she was unable to operate the delay start facility.
I assume that we 1) power on, 2) set prog, 3) set options, 4) set delay, 5) press start?
Or am I missing something?
Chris.
