Na, he’s not that interesting and, funnily enough, I’ve not heard a peep for days now.

Still hasn’t signed for his recorded delivery letter I see, do ya get the feeling he’s avoiding official looking docs?
Being serious, the constitution states he can appeal a refusal of membership within 14 days, that is from the date the letter is sent NOT the day received.
Usually recorded delivery letter which cannot be delivered are returned to sender. If this occurs, DO NOT open it on its return BUT do keep it safe please.

TBH Carl I have little interest in our Mr Welke beyond ensuring that he causes nobody any further trouble. But I do think that there’s a lot more to this whole caper than meets the eye and, it quite probably is him and/or his business slowly circling the drain.
That’s not really my or our problem and, he’s not exactly done much to help himself if that’s the case.
Let’s alienate ourself from all the people that could give a hand… yeah, great plan! :rolls:
Then threaten them, with violence no less.
All of which has led to, I have heard, several people placing some distance between themselves and him which has bugger all to do with any of us but no doubt we’ll get the blame. Which will doubtless further the conspiracy theories he has that everyone has it in for the poor Welsh guy.
So yeah, he probably isn’t that keen on picking up recorded delivery mail. 😉
In the end though, there’s only one person to blame.
However, if the letter is returned I will ensure that it is left unopened and that we seal it in another envelope and record the returned date on it.
He’s only got a few days left and, if he’s not collected it yet then the chances are that he will not appeal it, he hasn’t the time.
On the other hand, he’s a tenacious git. 😉

Just so everyone is sorta in the loop as it were…
Our “friend” has popped back up in an email sent to Carl with myself copied in on it.
The short of it is that he is clearly going to attend the meeting in Coventry with the sole intent to cause disruption, quite possibly of a violent nature.
I want no part in that and have therefore decided that I will not attend to avoid inflaming the situation any further.
Asides from which I am not prepared to allow harm to come or, be the reason that it could, to friends as well as Tracey or Sudeep who would also have been attending. Obviously if I don’t go then they will not attend and, under the circumstances, as their employer I cannot allow it as it places them in a potentially dangerous situation.
I will weigh options when I return to the UK but, I am very tempted at this point to involve the police in the affair if that is possible as this is just getting completely out of hand.
Unless anyone has a better idea, it’s the best option I can see.
