    I don’t think the machine makes a noise like the machine with worn bearings in the vid makes when it span, nor is there movement of the drum with regards to the seal.

    I’m having an issue getting the belt back on (as I did previously after replacing the brushes.

    I try to line up the belt as far back on the black thing (towards the machine rather than towards me) then put the half of the belt on the pulley as I rotate it. Then I screw in the bolts holding the motor (the original video posted said this was because the motor moves it’s position so you half attach the belt then screw) then rotate the pulley further until the belt goes on. This method worked eventually the first time, but then as well as now, the belt keeps moving towards me, i.e. off the black spindle, when I try to put on the remaining bit of the belt.

    Whereabouts should the belt be on the spindle? When I refitted the belt previously, it was close to me, and as said earlier, there was a slight overhang of the belt on the pulley towards my side, which probably caused the belt to come off.

    Why does it keep moving off the black spindle when I try to attatch it/rotate the pulley?
