    Yeah, you need a Waste carriers license at least to do this regularly.

    Getting about £5.50 per machine here but take the motors out first.

    weighed in 4 diswashers and 6 washers last week and got £120.00.
    with regard to waste licence the local council told me that as i was generating my own waste as opposed to going around collecting it, then i can weigh in without a licence. been doing it for years. all i do is give the scrap yard my name address and reg and everyones happy.

    Had my catalyst cut off my van the weekend thieving little b&^£$(£ used a pipe cutter. Apparently they get £35 a time and they have done over 100 locally. It cost me £130 to replace and that was the cheapest i could find!
