Basic site statistics are now available off the main navigation menu. You can also see them by clicking on the links (numbers) in the Site Info panel to the right as well.
This does not give detailed information but does allow you to see the the trends of people using the site as well as some other nifty little nuggets of information.
This can only be seen by registered users and not any anonymous visitors to the site.

You can all look at the stats for yourselves now, but you may have noticed that we’ve had our busiest month ever this month as well as the busiest day. We missed getting the busiest hour by only a few page views.
What really did surprise me a fair bit is the fact that we’ve exceeded in three months this year what took almost six last year! Now that’s progress.

I happened to notice this morning that UKW (.co.uk) now ranks 6/10 in the Google page ranks which is excellent news and generally means we get an even higher placement on searches. 😀
Even some of the lesser pages now rank 4/10 etc! 😯
All good news, on top of good news…
Our Alexa ranking was sent to me yesterday by a friend (I rarely check these things) and it shows up some pretty startling results for UKW, you can see the information here;

Apart from that I would like to say that what I’d hoped would happen with UKW and the forums on the public side has happened. You guys (and gals) are freely offering help and very sensible and balanced advice to members of the public on their appliances and associated queries and I really think you ought to give yourselves a pat on the back. This shows a great image for our industry as a whole and, a very positive one, to the public and the manufacturers etc. who should, IMO, be very pleased with the level of proffessionalism displayed by you all.

Just to let you know how the site is faring, I like to keep you up to speed…
Google has been scanning again, results later this month or next most likely but if the following is any indication we’re doing summat right…

We’ve moved up 206,531 in Alexa’s rankings in 3 months which is, to say the least, pretty damn impressive in itself! But we’ve also now entered into, for the first time ever, the top 100,000 sites in the world according to Alexa’s figures this morning in terms of their Traffic Rank, which is just absolutely amazing in under a year.
It’s all good clean fun, if a bit geekish! 😆

That is truly shocking considering the many millions of site’s out there.

And today we passed 1.5 million page views.
Alexa rating has dropped big time though for some reason. But then the way that Alexa works that out is, shall we say, a little strange. 😕

Yep, we did a little over three months from passing 2 million. the real kicker for me is that in the first three months of this year we’ve done over half of last year’s figures. Now that is scary.
