Yes and no.
Firstyl yes it is 4 in every 100.
No, I can’t elaborate further on what is, CDA’s risk. I do know, but it’s not my place to tell you their business.
However I will say that we are well covered.
Also their is a risk factor with the factory, lets say 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of appliances breakdown with a manufacturing design fault, then the factory foot the bill.
Please don’t ask me to elaborate that one either as I’m not going to tell you the real percentage start figure, it’s certainly not 50{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.Hope that helps

Thanks Kevin
The reason i asked was not because i was questioning CDA’s warranty though.

Does this ‘risk factor’ cover the full warranty period or just the first twelve months?

Pardon me for hijacking but Kev’s away at the moment, just so you don’t think he’s ignoring the question, he also may miss it 😉
Logic would dictate though that if an “epidemic” failure were to occur that it would happen fairly quickly I would think IMO ? 😀

KeymasterWell I was leaving it to Kevin… but…
That’s part of CDA’s responsibility Andy and therefore I am can’t tell you the ins and outs of another company’s detailed arrangements as I am not privy to them. I should expect that there would be some sort of limit on it but I honestly can’t tell you what that is.
I would agree with Dave though, if there was to be such a thing then it would happen and be detected pretty quickly.
Interestingly we’ve been taking one apart, cutting holes and allsorts in it the past few days for detailed photos and technical info and I have to say, I’m impressed. There’s very few things there that could cause any problems at all let alone an epidemic failure. But then that’s why we chose this build in the first place.

We sold our first machine on Wednesday. The lady was well impressed on how quiet it was on her wooden floor and that the machine came with 5 year parts guarantee. She could not also beleive how much water the machine also took in as she said she could not see the water levels in her old machine. Here goes 😉 she is telling all her friends and we are now awaiting the rush
We ran through the machine with her and told her to :rtm: :lesson:
