KeymasterYesterday I went to the warehouse and gazed at 354 ISE autos all piled nice and neat, in rows, was very impressive to see and is the end of 18months of effort by us to get them there. But really it’s just the begining……
because today I delivered and installed the very 1st ISE into a customers kitchen. If any of you want to collect from the warehouse this will be possible, from the 1st March and I’ll explain, how, after this weeks UKW meeting.
The next delivery is already at sea, so March’s supply will be bolstered by these being in warehouse mid March, should mean no shortages of supply.
There’s a little extra bit to the ISE portfolio which we will reveal this weekend, don’t worry if you are not attending the meeting, we’ll post it in here for your attention and ensure you are fully up to speed on all info available.

Well done Kevin and company!
I must say I do like the look of the end product that has been implemented since the original ‘launch’. I goes to prove that UKW have listened and learned regarding from what our trade colleagues want from a brand new washing machine. They clearly have been incorporated in the new look design and that is very obvious. It really looks good and cannot be compared to any Beko branded machine I have seen or care about. It is unique and worthy of all its acculades of that I am sure. 🙂
I wish you well, and I’m sure you have a winner there 😀
P.S The title “Sold One” is a little demeaning considering many ‘sceptics’ out there are reading the headlines at least. Far better = “Sold”…. 😉

The e-mail you recieved with your reference number etc, included PDF’s of the registration forms 5+5 or 1+5 . We have to print them out until such time as the machines are supplied with the documentation.
If you have mislaid yours I can e-mail you the PDF’s.I now have a separate folder on my PC into which I pour all the ISE info.

personally atm i wont sell an ise, there doesnt seem to be a spares back up besides stripping a machine to fulfull that requirement, there is nothing in place to safeguard us as a retailer of the product should it go tits up in respect of honouring the 5 yr guarantee, underlaw if ise went tits up then we would be exoniarated (maybe) but we have for sure lost customers. my view is this, you should not have realeased the product without the spares of so called 90{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} being made available as van stock, the warranty should be underwritten in such a manner that it would be fulfilled no matter what.
Now i hope it suceeds but from my point of view and i bet im not the only one thinking this atm its not exactly a rosey prospect. so lets have some pos and some real evidence that spares will be fulfilled and the warranty will be backed up no matter what , is that to much to ask? business is business , faith doesnt come into it.

Quite an aggresive stance Jeremy.
We’re new to this and we are resolving the problems but Rome wasn’t built in a day, we’d have taken a few days.
Do you really think that this hasn’t been thought through or calculated to the n’th degree?
The sad fact is that we’ve been, in part, let down by people that we entrusted to do their part right. That doesn’t exonorate us entirely of course, but as I said, we put our faith in others to play their part. That failure has led to the spares situation which has been beyond our control until two days ago when we made moves to correct it.
Stripping a machine if required is only a way to get past any immediate problem, it is not the cure by far.
As for this whole train of thought about ISE going titsup, forget it, it isn’t. We have some serious backing as well as the finances in place to cope, in fact we’ve probably gone over the score there. But I’m hardly going to reveal the entire financial situation to you or anyone else am I?
Before you take offence at that, think on the stance you have taken. And also consider that if you sell any brand of appliance you don’t get a written undertaking about the situation with regards to a manufacturer’s guarantee liability. I’d love to see the replies, if you could get any, should you care to ask any other manufacturer for the same guarantees on warranty and liabilities.
If you have any issues with that then I’m quite prepared to discuss it with you or anyone else and, to explain the guarantee or any other point, and I am quite prepared to have John contact you and discuss it.
I don’t think we could be more open and I don’t think you’ll get this sort of response or support from any other brand/manufactuer. Unless of course you know better than I do?

no its not aggressive but common sense. of course no manufacturer is going to guarantee any thing but this is a different ball game is it not? to try and make something for the independants, to say maybe i know better than you is somewhat condescending, you didnt answer my points, where is the pos, and where is the assuarity of the 5 yr gurantee being met , you cant say in absoulute that because of some financial backing it wont go tits up (i hope it doesnt, realise what ive just put) but you have to accept that there are ppl and yes im one of them who wont take things at a face value. You come across as an intelliegent person so im sure you can apprecitate there other people just as intelligent but look at things in completely different way, its not meant to be offensive but more trying to get to the nitty gritty of things, thats how some of us survive! there is no offense intended on my part.

No offence taken, I simply answer as I see fit in the vein I am asked. I saw your comments as being a pretty agressive stance but I choose not to take that line.
So, I ask you, if no other manufacturer answers that then why should ISE?
Yes, it is a brand set up for independents, by independents and that’s the major difference.
I don’t see any points that I didn’t answer, please clarify what answers that you actually require nor did I consider my comments to be condesending.
The POS is in the works, as I have said I won’t let anything over my desk until I am happy with its release. That applies to everything that has to cross my desk, including POS. And, anyway, if you ask which you have not, there are leave-behind cards available.
Within a week there will be more POS that you can use.
You say that you wish assurances that ISE will not fail, fine. Show me the other manufacture that will furnish you such a guarantee.
Whilst you say that I haven’t answered your points, which I don’t accept, you have not answered mine with anything other than specualtion and further conjecture on a hypothetical that is, at best, unlikely. It just seems to me that there’s a bit of nit-picking here.
What kinda gets to me is the inference that we’re not trying to help you or rip people off, that is slightly irritating given the lengths we’ve gone to too get this project off the ground. But heh, if you think you can do better, then be my guest.
The offer for further discussion is still open.

Having had a damn good look at the appliance, I have confidence in it and as a consequence have sold 2 to date, with several more pending. The fact that a new venture of this nature is certain to have teething problems should be obvious to anyone. If a few machines have to die in the first weeks, that’s how it goes. In my Comet days, you would have been horrified at how we kept some new product launches going – and that’s the biggest retailer in the country.
Bear in mind that UKW has never failed on a promise yet – everything that the Directors have said they’ll do to date has been achieved.
Anyway, let’s try and be positive here. We have an opportunity here to change the way our businesses work – this is just the first step. Hopefully we’ll finish up with a range of “engineer specified” quality products that we can offer our customers with confidence. To panic over an initial glitch is very foolish.
Go for it,
