    Very nearly boobed, saw a new member with a Polish (pl) e-mail address, was just about to zap it when I noticed amica in the address. 😳

    Not forum spam this time.

    I have just had an e-mail from Europart thanking me for applying for a password for their Online Ordering System. I gives one of my e-mail addresses as my username and the name of the street ( close ) I live on as my password. :rolls:

    The thing is I have never contacted them for anything, ever. 👿

    Came in this morning and there were a few spam posts, all from one user, all deleted.

    However, I see that Sudeep has installed the Stop Forum Spam module last night so hopefully this will eliminate a load of spammers. It stops them from even signing up! 🙂

    That was one of the “more important things”. 😉

    Just deleted my 1st spam post from UKW 2.0, user Jeppreeva trying to sell the usual cialis etc…

    Ta, user deleted now as well.

    If they’re logged on Stop Forum Spam the system should automagically stop/kill them and not allow them to post. 😉

    The odd few will get through, but I’m hoping much less than ever before.

    I have just had a ‘new post’ notification from THIS thread.

    No new posts since Aug 2010?

    Has it had a spam post deleted? I didn’t get a post/topic does not exist message like we used to. 😕

    I tried out the “one click ban”, ’tis brilliant.

    Click once to ban. Click to confirm (yes, I know that’s two clicks) and they’re history along with all posts that they’ve ever made. 🙂

    Just ‘Banned’ fueftguva, however his/her four posts still appeared in the forums.

    The ban appears in the Mod logs, I did find two of the posts and manually deleted them.
