I have tracked down the other two posts and zapped them.

I clicked on the username to view profile.

At the side of the name it has [Banning] I clicked this and then clicked Submit and then Yes.

As you can see from the logs I tried it three times before I realised it wasn’t removing the posts. 😕

Is that the one click ban?

No, there’s a line below that which should say “One Click Ban” as attached. Using that zaps all the users posts and PMs, basically nukes them out of existence.

But again, I don’t know what you see as I’m still trying to get my head round the whole permissions thing. I think there’s a carry over from the old dbase that’s causing certain permissions not to be allowed assigned to the old groups and, if I’m right, it’s a MAJOR PITA to put right.

I am clicking on the users profile which takes me to this screen.

Clicking the [Banning] which is directly after the username takes me to the screen I uploaded a few minutes ago.

OK, I’m not playing any more. I have just tried to move THIS post from public to trade forums.

I was able to move a post a couple of days ago. 😕

Now I select move post/topic from the Quick Mod Tools drop down list, click go and it just returns me to the forum. Tried several times with the same result. 😥

Just tried it again, still going back to forum when I press Go after selecting Move Topic. It did work for me before, I got the option to leave original post in situ etc then. 😕 Also tried to lock it but once again pressing go sent me back to the tumble dryer forum.

Read PM’…. receiving you loud and clear. 😉

On the upside I have successfully actioned a reported post from the Mods CP. 8)

Cripes, that bluefearl was a busy spammer, I deleted at least 14, not sure if I have got them all. 😈

I had already banned him before I started cleaning out his mess, no doubt your ban carries more weight though. 😀

Just had a few e-mail notifications that were dead links, I see that you have removed several posts from sudeep but not banned him. Was it just nonsense or spam?
