    I’m thinking that “hacker” may be a stretch, lucky b4$tard that you sussed it out may be more accurate but, in with my Kofi Annan hat on, we’ll give you it as a goal. 😆

    Discs received, thanks. Mrs P is struggling to make sense of the instructions on previous page; can anyone expand on them slightly.

    right click on the directory in the backup disc and copy it directlly on to the c drive of your pc. Insert current MFI disk and just follow the prompts and it should work first time.

    Well, it installed this time – but when the program is opened it says ‘invalid installation of identifier’ and shuts down.

    Sorry Chris, 1 missed your last post.

    usualy an “invalid installation” is to do with the terminal not being configured correctly. Put the current MFI disc back into the cd and reinstall following the prompts. Right after it has installed it should come back up with the option to setup terminal, just press enter and it should set it up on C drive.
