kwatt wrote:Those codes, on Chinese stats like that, can be misleading. Stick with the manufacturer part number or you can run into issues. And no, they are not universal in many cases.

So your saying that they are selling a universal one that they have listed/ advertised as the modal I want including the model number for mine (and many other I would imagine). Just for a cheep sale?

if we get the gen then we have a 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} chance it will be ok. With anything else the percentages drop

So that company E Spares is where you buy your stuff from?
So you are 99{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} certain its the thermostat right? Before I buy it

I spent a lot of time on this fridge cutting the door panel out and fitting a plastic glass one over it you see

The problem with those stats is that even although the code is the same, they can physically fit differently even on the same code.

no we have dedicated wholesale suppliers. Espares is a retail company. If they say it should fit and it does not that you can push them to do something about it. That why you need to check its the right part for you model no yourself

that’s why i said “check yourself but it says it should be correct for your model”. Although I think it is probably the correct part I cannot guarantee it, that way you cant come back and blame me if it does not fit.

The thermostat has a phial on it, if that gets damaged or kinked in any way, the thermostat is rendered utterly useless.

    Explained here:

The second one is tiny but if that’s been cut then it’d be rendered useless, you cannot damage that in any way.
