That’s my spelling/poor typing skills, what we really want to know about are functional errors or bits that just dont’ look/feel right. 😉

Yep, said it once already, far to ‘white, lots of sites have similar sized empty borders but most have some sort of fill in colour. With the page background being white and the borders on both sides taking up over a third of the screen it looks washed out to me. Even the slight hint of a pastel shade would make a huge difference IMHO.

I like it ’cause it’s clean and it fits with the title. But the look is a subjective thing and a matter of opinion.
My own opinion is that I’m not a great fan of colourised pages, either online or in print.

Wait until you get older and the old photosensitive reflex kicks in, 😉
To bright, to white. 8) I will just have to put my shades on. 😆
PS. Why is there all that wasted space on either side of the screen?

Will the new site be hosted on the same servers, it doesn’t matter what it looks like if it keeps timing out or crawling as slow as ukwg’s has in the past few days. 😥

Yep, it’s been awful for some reason for days now 🙁
But, the new server is now installed, so we should be ready to go soon on that (after some testing etc) 😀

KeymasterYeah, Chris mentioned something about it the other day and I got it a while back but it hasn’t re-occured. I do know Li was clearing out the database recently though, could be related. 😕

Had loads of them in past few days, constant time outs as well, gave up trying to edit a post last night after trying for half an hour. 😥
Sometimes the pages load in a flash, then minutes later it chokes completely.

Someone else’s website hosted on the same server has been causing this, I can’t recall the exact details TBH but it’s a right PITA 🙁
Roll on the new server 😀

So much stuff out there, articles coming out of my ears. I have spotted many, teh when it should be the in the articles, I have just been too busy to bring this minor problem to the attention of the Webmeister :rolls:
I have just stumbled across an article giving general advice on bearing changes. I came upon it via the homepage link, Need help or Advice/ Can you fix it yourself. http://tinyurl.com/y593zc
There may be other errors in the article but one passage in particular stood out.
It was headed, Preperation 😥 it should be Preparation, also there is an extra ‘e’ in get which becomes geet. One sentence in the third paragraph made no sense at all.‘You also do not want to replace something you should.’ WTF. 😕
I am not trying to be picky, there is just so much stuff out there that these typo’s etc are bound to happen. If we tidy them up as we notice them then it will only serve to present a better image of UKWG’s.
