Siemens doesn’t have a WFF2000 series! It should refer to the WM5000 & WH5000 series instead….

Oh dear, IIRC you have to delete the app first then open it again and then restore.

Use the registered email only to restore. Do not register again

I know that the above got sorted.;)
On another note, given that I’m a glutton for punishment, apparently…
Is there anything you’d like to see in future revisions of the app?
We’re reworking it, I’ll tell you that now, to make it easier to use and navigate but, like all things worthwhile, you learn by doing. But we’ll likely never stop reworking it.
I think there’s an update out and there’s a bunch of new codes in there that I’ve rewritten.
Here’s the thing there though…
I rely on people telling me about new codes as they come online because, I will only pick them up on occasion as I happen to stumble across them. If I don’t, then I don’t know that they even exist as there isn’t exactly a magical update for all to get, as you will all know. So, if you do find new ones, please let me know and I will add them.
Before someone says something about, “Oh he makes money from that, bugger that, I’m telling him nothing” or words to that effect, I’m trying to make this easier for the service engineers. The actual reality is, this project has been, for UKW, a huge loss maker and, even if we get a good few hundred people if not well over a thousand using it, we’d still be losing from it.
You guys don’t send me information, it will become of less value but, more importantly, you will have to waste time buggering about trying to find fault codes. Or, just look completely clueless when you walk into a customer’s home.
Or you can look all funky and modern by pulling up an app on your phone or tablet that the customer sees and start to think that you know what you’re doing.
Your call. I can only do so much given I’m just one guy.
K.

Seems to have gone t**s up again. I have not had any message or warning of any updates. Just opened the app and find it has reverted to ISE codes only . Tried to ‘buy’ a new subscription, it accepts my password etc but then tell me I am already subscribed.
There seems to be no way to get it to update or accept a new subscription. 😥
Do I have to uninstall the whole thing and start again..????March 14, 2013 at 4:52 pm #369866sudeep

if you could go in the restore section of the app and use the credentials you used to register the app and click restore, you should get the app back.
If you need more help mail me at stalati@ukwhitegoods.co.uk

I have tried that several times, it tells me that it has been restored to the last subscription but it hasn’t, now it tells me that I have ‘used up’ my quota of restores. 😥
