I’ll second that. Many thanks to all concerned for a very enjoyable, informative and instructive weekend. Shame about the lack of a ‘Full English’ π Was it one of our lot that set of the fire alarm at 1.24 this morning. β

I am absolutely shattered tonight. π
Some may have noticed as I kinda looked like roadkill this morning, but then being consistantly one of the last to bed will do that to you after organising one of these events in a week. And every time I say to myself that one of the two nights I’ll get myself to bed early… never seems to pan out that way somehow.
It was mildly amusing however to see people utterly dazed and confused when they found out that there wasn’t actually a fire at 1:30 this morning. But then at the same time it was also a tad scary. I’ll let you work that out for yourselves.
The chat, banter, craic as ever was utterly superb and almost every jibe taken in the spirit it was given. Just brilliant.
The meeting went off almost totally without a hitch (phew) which was nothing short of a minor miracle. Of course all driven by head gob….e, err sorry, chairperson (politically correct term so nobody moans) our very own Kevin Heath.
But a huge thanks for those that took the time out to attend, it seemed that everyone thought it was well worth the effort. I know some people certainly gained some business, or agents. Nuff said.
And thanks again to the sponsors, Qualtex, Masterpart and CDA (in no particular order) for supporting the meeting actively. It is massively appreciated.
My thanks as well to James Laurence, Create, Phil Burnett, Sean Delaney, George Downes, John Hopwood and Qualtex for their presentations, superb job guys. Every one was a belter.
I’m also really pleased that we managed to get a few surprised looks during the Friday afternoon. π
So now I suppose we better come up with something for September’s meeting then eh? I wonder…

Ken/Kev
Sorry (not) for the 3.00am to bed (Or was it later)on Thursday night Friday morning, the conferance was a success pity a few missed out.
π³ π³
We worked out that the four and a bit hours sleep worked at about only
Β£15 per hour that is better than my previous averages.February 25, 2006 at 10:15 pm #152541iadom

Have to admit to sneaking of to bed early, 11.00 PM last night but I had followed two pints of lager with a full bottle of Oz Shiraz, π³ also I wanted to watch Wallace & Gromit’s ‘Curse of the WereRabbit’ on the PPV channel . It was brilliant, even though I fell asleep half way through and watched the end this morning. π
Word of advice Ken, invest in some dark shades, your eyes this morning were a picture, and not a pretty one. πFebruary 28, 2006 at 5:17 pm #152542andy_art_trigg
