I’m suffering from “Post-UKW Meeting lack of info” syndrome. Sadly I was not able to attend and I have scanned the many and varied posts since in the hope of gaining at least something 😕

Many have said what a great meet it was but there are no published minutes as yet so I’m much in the dark. 😥

Are Qualtex going to save the declining spares industry?

Is NVQ/Create training a realistic solution to recruiting new blood?

What indeed is ACH?

What was discussed on at the Saturday morning after?

Was the new venue any good?

When was Happy Hour?

Was the food OK?

Do they water down the beer and up the prices?

Did Kevin behave?

Questions, questions……. ❓

Venue – Nice rooms, poor service and disorganised
Rooms – Lovely
Beer was fine
Food – Next door pub was lovely, a;though orders did go astray
Kevin – Well, he erm had a present that mysteriously made its way upstairs with new owners 😯
Fire Alarm – Dont ask 😉
Goatboys Hat – 😯 Ask Kev

All in all it was my first meeting and loved it.

Awwwww, it’s great reading back through the minutes!

But, the text doesn’t tell you how powerful John Hopwood’s presentation was; or how hungover Tony was durng his presentation 😆
