I would be looking at the cable or the suppressor…
Check for breaks in the cable either on the outside insulation or inside the plug…
Remove the plug from the wall, remove the lid and look for damage, burnmarks or breaks on or nearby the mains supressor.March 17, 2012 at 12:27 pm #370029stuart_faust

tried a new mains filter still trips. i can disconnect the pump or the motor and still wont trip but no power.
Could it be the front panel now?

You need someone who knows how to use electrical test equipment to check out the motor.

Ive tried disconnecting the motor with the block and ground , like its not attached and it still wont even turn on.
I can get the machine to plug in without tripping the electrics by disconnecting the front control panel but obviously cant turn it on.

Have you done as suggested above. ❓March 21, 2012 at 6:50 pm #370033washtronics

you need a insulation tester (meggar) this is the only way to test insulation

You say you are skint, but you have ‘apparently’ already tried a new heater, new plug, you also say you have tried a new mains filter but as that comes complete with a new mains cable I am somewhat confused about how you managed that. 😕
For goodness sake, please get someone who knows what they are doing to have a look at it or at least get the motor meggered out. :rolls:

i got a heater for £6 off ebay working unit. i had a spare 13amp plug and a new filter cost £20. so ive spent £26 plus my time.
If its the motor would the machine turn on if all the power lines/cables where disconnected from it?March 22, 2012 at 8:51 am #370036Martin

Very likely yes, but I can’t help thinking, like my colleague, that you really haven’t a clue what you’re doing or show any indication of electrical experience. The machine requires careful testing of each component in turn using an insulation tester (aka. Megger) Poking about inside is not the way forward here and I too would advise calling someone in to check out the machine for you.
Messing with electrics is dangerous… :zap:
