I’ll be honest, its pretty much back up to where it was pre epidemic. Maybe if I was being completely honest, one job a day less but I can cope with that. I’m even enjoying it, working with a little bit less stress and seeing the family a little more. I’ve realised that there is a work/life balance after being self employed for 25 years and chasing the money constantly.
Have not stopped wear new gloves and mask every house I go to and wipe down and say to customer to wipe down when I have gone, i’m doing about 6 to 8 jobs a day
i would say im back to about 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} before this is all kicked off which is a big improvment over the first few weeks.
Brought my engineer out of furlough last week, we are now back to about 80{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} I worked right through, new gloves every job , strict social distancing, i.e in another room.
I worked through doing a few calls week enough to pay may wages. To be honest I can’t understand where all the work went appliances are still breaking down as I can’t believe that have come perfect for a few months.. Just have to wait and see
That’s what so puzzling, has there been a seed change in the public attitude? Is it like the reluctance to now use cash as opposed to plastic? Buy new, dont repair, you know it makes sense (I dont think)!
If things dont improve I’m finished.
