I live near the Baxters food factory and they have a shop where they sell tins of soup etc cheap. I have a couple of customers who load me up with a dozen or so tins of soup when I’ve finished a job. Others give me plants for the garden or bags of fruit from their garden. A secondhand shop in Elgin where I do their guarantee repairs lent me a cement mixer to do a section of my drive that needed renewing. 😀

As its the festive season I thought I would revive this antidote to the ‘most annoying customers’ thread.
For the past eight or nine years I always take a day off at this time of year. I get down to the Trafford Centre on my own, nice and early and in an operation that smacks of military precision I do all of my Christmas shopping in one fell swoop. There for 9.45am. Shop, breakfast, shop, lunch, last bit of shopping then leave before 3.00pm to avoid the crush on the motorway, sorted.
I went for my lunch to La Tasca’s, I enjoy the odd tapas. Ordered my San Miguel and the waitress brought it to the table and informed me that it was free, paid for by a lady sat at a table just behind me. A customer of mine from Diggle. 8) 😀
How nice was that.

Diggle? 😕 …Come on Jim tell us more, is Diggle a posh part of town, a company you once worked for or a local department store? 🙂

Cant help noticing that this thread is barely more than 2 pages long, while the annoying customer rants spread out over 27 pages 😆
Now, that means we white goods monkeys are a bunch of moaning bar stewards or the British public are the spawn o the devil.. 😉December 18, 2008 at 6:23 pm #233129iadom
