    What does a multimeter say set to ohms on heater terminals?

    3.5 ohms , dunno what it should be

    25 to 35 ohms approx

    odd elements usually fail open circuit. strange you are getting a reading across it.

    havent seen it b4 myself ? , l took it off and put a live feed to it , nothing doing its goosed thanks for your help mate
