1603410 is the whole drum assembly with inner drum, spider etc, thats cheating 😛 Only an insurance company would spend that kind of money on a WMA repair.

Fastest full tub i have done was 27 mins in a garage could let everything flow, usualy about 35 to 40 when i’m dawdling, back half and spider usualy about 50 to 55 mins, washer dryer usualy about 80 mins. I’m still a Hotpoint eng for my sins.

Hi Johny, what do Hotpoint use for unscrewing the spider screws as most of us on here seem to have problems with broken bits etc?

Nope if you have done hundreds kike i have you soon get the the time down, do everything from the front cordless drill etc, in a house you have to be a bit more careful add another 10 mins, another job everbody loves is the float chamber in condensor drier i got them downabout 30 mins, but due to restrictions in working space i tried another method out of pure frustration, 10 mins to do it on a tdc60 i could have kicked myself for not thinking of this before, told some other FSE’S they couldnt believe how nobody had thought of it before.

I have just split a late model tub the machine had fallen off the back of a wagon -literally, the top was all squashed and tub cracked. Smaller diameter shaft than WMA, smaller bearings and cheaper looking seal.Wonder if theyre fitting this on the full range.

This is 1604600, used on WMA design machines since october 2003, on all spin speeds up to 1200rpm.
