I know this is a stupid question but where do I find the moderator logs Jim is referring to? and what do they do/show

Click on moderator control panel, the logs are one of the tab options along the top.

I don’t normally use the Mac / PC for access to this site as I find it easier to use tapatalk on my iPhone.
On the iPhone it doesn’t give me the logs under the moderation tab so I thought I was missing something.
You can tell I don’t much moderating can’t you!

You could inform him that I took the trouble to contact Martin and he agreed that my actions were in order. It’s possible he may have asked Martin where his thread went but as Carl says it was just going to turn into the same stream of drivel as the current one.

I’m not telling him anything.
So far as I am concerned…
Any posts that are deliberate attempts to troll will be removed or deleted. This has been in force since the inception of UKW and it is not changing now or anytime soon and, most certainly not to accommodate that cretin.
It is up to us to make a judgement call on that. Just as always.
Engaging him in any conversation over site policy is simply not happening in so far as I am concerned.
Telling him what goes on in here or any other area that he has no access to on the site, is not happening.
We do not have to justify ourselves to anyone buy each other and the membership as a whole. I do not think that allowing him or anyone else to post vitriolic and inflammatory material is in the interest of the site, the members, the various companies that use the site or pretty much anyone really.
He’s been disgraced, is extremely bitter about it and is out to exact some form of revenge by any means possible.
Some of the stuff he’s been up to and, saying, is just so derisory it’s unbelievable and, full of either inaccuracy or complete lies.
I’m really sorry but, personally, I can’t be putting up with that and, won’t.

Jim your talking a sensible and reasoned point that will be lost on the individual concerned until he sobers up again.
I am sorry but all I see is we appear to be back to a late night rant of drivel which turns into insults and repetitive argument on the same point over and over again.
It is fast getting to the point where I am going to put a request to all the moderators that we request he be banned from the site altogether as he is now simply just a destructive poster IMHO.
I am away to bed now guys, I have Court to attend tomorrow to stop a friends eviction hopefully and need my beauty sleep.

No luck needed it was an easy win.
It never ceases to amaze me how those supposed experts, don’t actually understand the real intimate details of the law, but hey that’s their problem.
All I know is my friend has gone home to his wife happy he has a roof over his head and a workable way forward to allow him to stay there and enjoy a bit of life, and that is the pleasure thrill I seek in helping.

I rejected it as obvious trolling.
Apart from which the quote he is using is both out of context from what I know of it and from a confidential email.
Not that that bothers me, more the fact that he’s just trying to stir up trouble where there isn’t any.

I have been asked by Martin to remove his posting in relation to the Chairmans Statement on the Whitegoods Trade Association Thread.
