Now banned from sending PMs as well since I rejected a couple of sh1t messages he decided (shockingly, just like Adrian) to PM everyone that had posted on the thread with his crap. Or, that should be, everyone that he thought he’d get some sympathy from. Seems that those people are in short supply.
Even Martin PMd me asking why I hadn’t banned him outright yet! 😆

I’ve been agonising over this all night and I can’t seem to reach a decision on it.
Should I just ban the two accounts, jamieparrie and NationalAppCare or not?
In view of the discovery that Jim made on the IP addresses being the same for both accounts, the likeness in the way the posts are made in terms of timing and content to Adrian Welke’s previous MO it’s hard to see that it could be anything or anyone else really.
I mean, they are both completely neutered really, both are moderated and neither can do much of anything on here without us seeing it and approving or kicking it back but…
There’s just that annoying nagging thing at the back of my mind saying that, really, they should both be kicked into touch completely.
We have time to decide given that they are in effect shut down pretty much and, we don’t have to bust a gut watching the forums constantly for crap posts begin made, so that’s good. And, if it takes us a day or two to decide to approve a post or not, tough titty really.
The IP thing is a slam dunk though. As Jim said, not the smartest by any stretch to post from two accounts on the same IP which only leaves limited options and, I’m going to go a bit Jackal on you here…
Option Number One
It’s Ade, he’s trying to spam and promote his wares on here by disguising who is really using the account.
This is unethical and immoral for a start but also a clear breach of site use terms.
Option Number Two
It’s people from the same company using different accounts to promote their wares and get conversation about it going, essentially attempting to deceive.
This is also both unethical and immoral as well as a breach of terms of use even leaving aside the fact that the business in question is owned by Adrian.
I cannot see any other options here as to what could lead to what we are seeing unless anyone can come up with something I’m not seeing and, all end up in pretty much the same place. If it was anyone else that did that their a$$ would have been banned before now.
The thing that really got up my nose was the whole “we will give you contract work” crap that surfaced earlier. I am absolutely convinced that this is simply a tactic to attempt to get more of the guys to sign on to this farce and, that’s just well out of bounds. It’s not only sharp practice but wholly dishonest and I do not like nor will I stand for that on here.
He backed off that one fast enough though you’ll notice.
Oh and I might have altered both accounts signatures to reflect the displeasure. Just a little.
And removed the ability for them to alter them. 😉
Sad that I have to do that but, it is what it is.

I would ban them both in a heartbeat, it is getting embarrassing reading the drivel and the excuses used by Ade and his split personalities and I would think that most members realise what is going on and it should be stopped now.

In some ways it helps members see what assholes he/they are but sooner or later they should be terminated. 😈

You can ban them fine I have no problem with that. What I have a problem with is a few months time he / them will reappear in another guise and away we go again.
Is it not better to keep them close by restricting functionality as we have done and having them moderated? I would rather know where they are, that way we have control and not them.
If we go down the route of a total ban I would like K to round off the thread by explaining our actions and why so we remain transparent to the members. That way Ade or whoever have no comeback on the site or it’s members.

Ok, lets explain, we’ll answer your a & b respectively:
a/ We did not, I repeat not post here about our business (I have deliberately not named it so we are not advertising :rolls: ). We were made aware of a thread by another UKWhitegoods user (And nope… Not Jamie, he joined after IIRC although rather than shoot us down, we could be wrong) that was started by another user about our business. Like any red blooded creatures, we came to see what that was.
As it turns out, that thread became such a laughing stock, it was hard to keep away, mainly for entertainment purposes and did nothing but good for our business as we had a number of Engineers join throughout that few week era where we weren’t really advertising for recruitment.
So… We keep coming on because although you have added a pretty red signature and a less flattering image to the bottom of our posts, we find a lot of stuff amusing and we are not banned? So we continue to attend? Is that not fair enough?
We also note that the person that initially came on telling somewhat exaggerated truths about the conversation is now here saying how quiet their work load is while our Engineer is quite busy and reaping fruits in that area?! It must be said that sometimes, people shouldn’t be too quick to dismiss and aggravate something new before trying it out themselves, and yes, for us, this is a case point!
b/ We do apologise for mentioning our name. Ok, we will admit to the odd blatant ‘Ad’ now and again but even that was not written deliberately! We just composed something and posted. When deleted, looking back, we can see you point but come on…? There are tons of businesses here that advertise if you look close enough :rolls:
As for the other deletes… They are out of order as in most cases where our posts get deleted, we only refer to ourselves as (Again I wont say it in fear of this being deleted but it was given to us by lee8). Whenever those 3 letters are input in to a post, it gets deleted.
Summary: kwatt… You know deep down that any repair we take away from Repaircare or 0800Repair that lands in the lap of an engineer that makes much more money from it should be applauded.
Yes, we make a small cut but if you come to our office for a full day with phones going non stop, us taking all the crap that comes with advertising such as 70{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} of calls wanting free call outs and repairs for favours (It does get asked believe it or not) and you go away honestly still saying we don’t deserve it and we rip people off when job for job we are the highest earning Work Provider in the UK to our Engineers… I’ll shake your hand and call you a liar.
I would say let’s continue this via PM but we haven’t the PM Facility so I suppose it’s here, even if it does take the thread off topic? As in massively?

An amusing line in his last post about engineers ‘making a small fortune’. They will if they follow his previous business practise, take £700 up front for and incomplete repair. :rolls:

Astonishingly of course, the address shown on Google just happens to be the very same on used by Jamie Parrie and, there would appear to be a link to the former company name as well.

Oh that’s right, Jamie’s old business Assured Electrical operated from that very same address, that’ll be why I know it then!
But then I see that the same business is listed as being just down the road as well, as seen here…
It is quite convent though, close the prison and all. And, not only that, it seems to be no more than a storage facility as well.
He really is rather stupid I reckon.
