Hi.
Does the door lock?
If so, does it start to fill?
If so, does the drum turn?
Please advise.

If you have a suitable test meter, I would advise you test the appliance for insulation faults.

I would suspect the “motor” sound you’re hearing is actually the valves opening – is it a “buzzing” sort of sound? Have you checked that there are no kinks in the inlet hose(s) and that there is water pressure to the machine? No water going in would cause machine to abort programme about two mins into wash.

It would, but it would display E10 & not 0.

yes it does sound like a buzzing sound, there arent any kinks in the pipe going into the machine.
would there be kinks in the inside pipes?(sorry but i know nothing about machines as you can gather!!!)

An earth leakage issue on the heater will cause this problem. Did one just today….
