Hi Alf

Thanks for your comments, I here what you say about the fridge getting its chill from the freezer. I am defrosting the entire fridge for 24hrs and will turn it all back on and see what happens.

Re the heater, are you suggesting the defrost heater might become stuck on ?
Can this occur due to some kind of physical problem, ie iceing up inside the fridge somewhere too much or a broken sensor, or is it always an electronic problem with the PCB ?

I will try and contact old lonely as well.

Not sure I understand your reply, the problem is that the freezer IS defrosting.
Do you know what problem with defrost heater might be ?
