Can I be a pain and ask, is it worth getting this machine repaired? Original problem was that the arm isn’t spinning, friend isn’t sure if it fills up or not; does think there is some water getting in?? Sorry if this is a bit vague…. I only went there to do a plastering job!! :rolls:

She just wants to know whether it’s worth repairing or to get a new one??

Hi,

The other week I had a reply with regards to a faulty dishwasher saying,

“Depends what’s up with it.

Likely faults are the motor capacitor (cheap fix) or the motor itself (expensive fix).

Can anybody either give me an idea of the costs involved or tell me how easy (or difficult) the faults are to repair?

How easy are they to fix in either case? I’m a general handywoman, but whitegoods isn’t yet in my portfolio, but it’s something I’m considering for the future.
