I had similar problem with hotpoint mistral FF92P fridge freezer. Freeze fan stops after few seconds, infact sometimes it starts and stops few times, but does not run for longer due to which it is not able to cool fridge portion. To make fan running I have disconnected yellow(evaporator thermistor). It has fixed the problem i.e. now fridge also gets cool, but my question is what was the role of yellow thermistor and have I done something which can cause safety issues?
