ParticipantRe: Bosch SGS66A0GB fault
Thank you Martin for your help.
As you will read below I am of the same opinion. I will ignore Lee8 here as he was less than helpful and acting as if he is a moron. It is people like him that give the net a bad name.
For any one who really needs more detailed help to disassemble their Exxcel machine after much searching I found more pictorial info – see a different website that is very helpful http://wiki.diyfaq.org.uk/index.php?tit … her_repair to do that task.
No criticism of UK Whitegoods intended here as it is a great forum but only as good or bad as it’s contributors and sometimes the moderators need to take action, I suggest.

Thank you for your response Lee8, if a little unfair! 😕
I am a qualified engineer in instrumentation and the controls etc. are not going to be an issue.
You may say that the panels are the easiest to remove but certainly not as easy as my old Hoover! All visible screws are off but the panel still seems to be retained at top and bottom – in centre behind worktop lid and at base behind lower plastic panel 35 5399 (Bosch diagram). I do not wish to force anything and risk breaking/bending.
If it’s so easy please just give me a clue and I’ll take it from there!

ParticipantRe: Bosch Logixx not filling very well
So, eventually managed to get to the machine and check the obvious (it’s at daughter’s house). Fill hose, in line filters checked OK and there’s both plenty of pressure and a very decent flow into the machine’s input (check by taking off connector). 🙂
Conclusion – something internal. 🙁
Please advise if you can where to go from here. Still can’t figure out how to get to the ‘works’!! Is this like another post – take top off then left hand panel? 😕
Off hand, can think of needing to check power to and operation of fill solenoid valve and any microswitches/float valves?
Apart from lack of fill everything else does seem fine.
