Hi and thanks so much for the rapid response. I will do the checks suggested before deciding whether to invest in the replacement parts. The only reason why I have doubts about this is that we are considering a new machine :-), but if we can get another year or two out of it then I consider it money well spent.
FYI, the serial number of this machine is : 53100247
