Hi Dave

Replaced the fan.

i think the motor has slightly dropped hence the fan couldn’t spin without contact so i have realigned the motor and the fan seems to spin more freely.

the only weird thing is when i put machine back together it gives a flashing DC message on the screen.

I took it apart again and tested the continuity of the top door switch and it suggests the switch is fine.

if i manually depress the switch it still gives the code.

Any idea what could be wrong?

could other sensors be at fault and still give the DC code?

any help appreciated

Ordered new fan earlier. Will see if I can make it work..
