I gave the back of the valve a tap with a screwdriver handle. All sorted now 🙂 IF it gets stuck again, I know what it is. Thanks for your help.

Aha, that never happens. Its full but it never empties its contents into the tub. I will video the fill procedure.

Which one is the water matrix:

Both the left tanks are full to the top the whole time.

    Left panel off:

    65 degree setting on.

Water drains for 20 seconds. Valve opens, water travels up the right hand channel, up and down again, past the float sensor.

The white pluger pushes the microswitch open whilst the water is flowing. It then closes after the water flow stops.

The red plunger never gets actuated.

    Thoughts?

Aha, no I dont see a water level at the salt container when I open it at all.

I will take the left hand panel off and let you know what happens.

New info – I sat and watched it, it turns on, drains for 20 seconds, I hear relays clicking and it fills with (some) water, where it then attempts the rinse. It is barely dribbling out of the spray arms. If I fill it then then close it it rinses properly, then does the same thing on the heated wash section.

If I then pour a couple of liters of water into the dishwasher and close it, it washes properly and heats properly as well.

Is there a float sensor that needs adjusting? All water inlet screens are clear. It is pumping some water in when needed, just not enough it appears.

Indeed, no problem. I will give it a look.

Would advise crock clips to enable a longer test period. 💡

How long should I watch it after starting, its pretty boring 🙂

Also to confirm what I have already done:

Heater element has a resistance of 23 ohms.
    The pressure switch works properly
The NTC/Thermostat at the top measures 0 ohms (closed) and 50Kohms at room temperature.
The PCB shows no burnt traces or dry solder joints.

I have ran the machine with a multimeter on the heating element and do see 230 volts for a bit. I didnt wait to see how long for however.

Large amounts, both spray arms appear to alternate correctly.

Just did another test, with the multimeters on the heating element, and its getting 240 volts…. im completely stumped now.

I have just run another test run. It does get maringally warm. The water isnt stone cold, which makes me thing the heater is working to a certain extent?

Re: Neff S5943X2GB Integrated washer being a pain!

Just to tidy up this thread.

I have bridged the level sensor with still no heat.
I have bridged the NTC with a 48K resistor. Still no heat.
I have no voltage on the heater pins when the heater should be running. If I have ruled out the water level switch, the NTC and thermostat and the element itself then it must be wiring or PCB?

I have checked the PCB for cold joints, but maybe the relay on the board is broken?

Re: Neff S5943X2GB Integrated washer being a pain!

Can anybody confirm whether that the second 2 pins on the NTC should read anything?

I will get a replacement sensor but just want to be sure.

EDIT: with the conector disconnected I get 68K Ohms from the sensor.

I have monitored the element pins whilst It was running and I never see any voltage on them.

Any idea where to go from here.
