Thank you for the advice.

I have just had a visit from an engineer, who diagnosed the fault to be with the clock module (by process of elimination).

I think that I will obtain this and fit it and cross my fingers. I don’t mind getting my hands dirty, but balked at the parts mark-up… happy to pay for labour if they would do it with parts supplied by me. If they are agreeable I will probably do this.

Thank you for your reply. I was also assuming that the timer or control module might have faulted. Would you be able to give me an idea of the price for the part? – I am prepared for some bad news here :). To be honest, i am unlikely to attempt a repair myself, but an idea of the price of the bits will allow me to evaluate any quotes.

The model information is as follows: U1461W0GB/01 FD 8007 B-AP54-8 5750313026 (presume the first bit of info is what is needed).
