    I think it was a software issue. The manufacturer’s service agents came out under customer’s insurance and replaced the PCB (again) but in reality probably just programmed it. Let me know if you get to the bottom of it.

    Checked wiring from dryer element, heater element and door lock all the way back tot he connectors on the board. They’re all OK. Ran machine on dry – that’s working fine. Both elements have continuity and not leaking to earth.

    As before, I can run a cycle outside test mode only if I have come out of test mode with the door lock still engaged. If I just try and run the cycle without having been in test mode (and engaging the door lock with a test) then I get the double beep.

    Anymore ideas? Could it be a software issue? Anyone got a service manual?

    Thanks for the input. I had a feeling it was door lock related. It’s strange that the door will lock after having been in diagnostic mode. I know the lock itself is OK as I’ve replaced it. Is it a case of clearing the fault code from memory after replacing the PCB? Or do you think it is a wiring harness issue?
