Well did some thinking overnight and had another look at the connector (that was connected to FST1).
There is a blue wire that comes from the on/off switch on the door but the brown wire disappears off down the door and underneath somewhere. Does anyone know where this connects to? I looked at some other posts about the DI620 (which uses the same PCB so is hopefully similar?) I think the heater circuit is on FST2 so could this be the drain solenoid?
I’m beginning to worry that the fault is not with the PCB itself but elsewhere – whatever is on the end of PST1 or the wires that run down the door and get bent and straightened a million times every day.
Anyone any experience of a similar fault?

OK – managed to get into the electronics on the front door and I’ve managed to answer some of my questions.
It looks like the control PCB (the one behind the 3h, 6h, 9h, 12h lights) is fried. The connector at FST1 has burnt out. Think this is the power connection to this board because the cables were blue and brown. Now they are kind of black! The plastic casing round the connector is all black and melted too. There’s a lot of electrical corrosion on the connector so I’m thinking some sort of malfunction in the connector’s wiring.
So, I guess the question is how easy is it to replace the PCB and also the connector. Anyone know the part numbers? Or, should I consign the thing to the scrap heap?
