I encountered the same issue. The dryer stops working after running for a while, but the screen and program timer continue to function normally. This problem seems to occur randomly—sometimes I can run the drying program for an hour, and other times I can complete the whole cycle, but sometimes it won’t start at all.
What I can say for sure is that when the problem occurs, the light inside the drum is not working (under normal circumstances, the light inside the drum should turn on when you open the door after the dryer is powered on. If the light is not on, it definitely indicates a malfunction). Maybe we can find a breakthrough here?
I’ve already disassembled the dryer and tested some components with a multimeter. I can confirm that the thermal sensor is fine, and the capacitor is also working properly.
Has anyone managed to fix this issue? If so, could you share where the problem lies?
