Hi K,
Yes, I know about the danger and am very careful when it comes to water + Leccy.
its funny, I powered it all up last night without doing a thing, and it ran through a cycle without a fault.
Cant remember it getting hot though (as if heating element is now faulty) but will check tonight.
one other thing i noticed was that the top of the machine (under the lid) had a bit of water lying on the tar-like covering. no idea how water got up there.
I guess (and its only a guess till i try it tonight)
but if the heating element has burnt out, shorted or whatever, it would trip the RCD.
but if it no longer works, would the DW continue to work, just without the heating part of it?
