It is not the white top trim but an internal piece that is attached on one side to the outer glass and on the other side to the top of the inner door. There is a thin piece of metal along the top of the inner door but that is fine. The part that is split looks like galvanised steel and is pretty flimsy.

I am assuming my “main door” you mean the oven door rather than the grill door. It is the oven door that is faulty. Which part would I be buying and how do I order it?

    Thanks

    Re: Door for Homark oven

The top of the outer glass is attached to the door itself by a strip of metal that is rather flimsy. There are 2 screws that go through this strip of metal, through the outer glass and attach to each end of the handle. The strip of metal therefore has quite a lot of strain put on it when you open the door. The metal appears to be galvanised steel. It is this metal piece that has failed – it is split at both ends. It has got to the stage that it is difficult to get the door open at all. It would be nice not to have to replace the whole oven since it is otherwise working fine.

    Thanks

    Andrew.
