Engineer arrived today from about 4 miles away!!!

Replaced LCD board , main module board and programmed new eprom. Cost of parts approx £200. Paid £90 call out fee ,as parts free under 4 year warranty. Although still unhappy machine is only 17 months old. Took him approx 30mins to do.

Phoned Hotpoint for an engineer to visit. Was instructed by them that because I live in a remote area, Glasgow !!!, that I would not receive a visit until May at the earliest. After a lot of discussion, a visit has now been arranged for Tue 25th March, although they tell me ,the engineer is coming from “out of area!” Will let you know what happens.
