It’s only a cold water feed.

A quick update, I tried just using the drying programme for two hours and that worked fine so it would only appear to be if you run a wash/dry programme straight after each other.

Does his diagnosis at least sound reasonable though? If it does then I might get an independent in, recommended by this site, to have a look and try and fix it.
