Thanks for your reply. Yes the water is spraying fine. With rinse and normal programs. Just the element was spitting the water when I opened the normal cycle and it was bright hot red which worried me. Any more ideas?

Thank you for your speedy reply – I ran the rinse cycle and yes could hear the motor running. However, the elements didn’t get red and hot this time. What do you suggest we do? Many thanks.

Hi I have the same dishwasher model and although it runs correctly and washes fine, I opened the door during the cycle to see the element burning red and smelling a bit smoky. Is this the same problem and do I need a new capacitor??? Many thanks. Anneka.
