ok I have ordered a new pump from this site 😀 It was only 15 quid and that’s definitely worth trying right?

Thanks for your posts – this site is brill 😀

I’ll let you know the outcome if it was the pump after all

    thanks penguin

pump removed and connected to mains supply and runs continuously with no problem. Volt meter connected to supply cable on machine and machine selected to drain. Voltage observed to be 230 – 240 but after a minute or less maybe voltage drops off completely.

So what’s controlling the supply to the pump?
Is it worth fixing and how expensive?

    Ta guys

actually my father has got pump out but we think now its the supply to pump is not constant. With pump connected it starts off whirring round then stops. What could this be? My dad has gone to test the pump with constant supply going to it to see if it goes continuously. He thinks there is a fault with power going to pump ie the power is interrupted.

any ideas guys? could this be pcb fault. Machine is 8yrs old at least and goes 3 times a day sometimes 4 every day
