I’m new to this site & just read your post. I worked for Service Force until recently & for a while we did guarantee work for LG.
This particular model of LG fridge freezer has a known problem with the pcb in the top. Basically you need to re-route the wiring away from the back of the pcb as the magnetic field generated by the loom interferes with the pcb control. The symptoms of which include the display control becoming inoperable and no power to the compressor. Hope this may be of help.
