The full model number is SOF60G (TFA40-31Y).

If I need a new element can you let me know the cheapest place to get one from and what I should do to prevent this from happening again.

Do I need to buy a new element? If so I might consider replacing the built in oven & hob as £40 for an element is a little pricey.
