ParticipantThanks all of you, I got the replacement pump, changed it as in the video and it is working great now. I almost feel it has more pressure than before as if I open the dishwasher door, some water sprays out (just before it shuts off). Best wishes

ParticipantThank to you all! So the last question regarding this. I am seeing all kinds of instructions and videos on youtube in how to change this heat pump, but none is for my specific model. Does anyone know if this exists, or should I just use a general one?

At last! So you have model SMS40T32UK/51. The heat pump part number is 12014980 and not 00651956. So it looks as though there is a heatpump change, as I thought there could be which is why I pointed that out to you, which is, and finally, you gave us the whole model number. If you ordered 12014980 heatpump you should get the right one.
You now say you ordered 00651956 but before that you stated 120154980 was ordered……………..I give up, I really do; there is no hope for mankind.Hi, no I never said I ordered 12014980. I ordered 00651956. I am going to return the latter and get the one you all recommended now that I know. Thank you

well done would not come up for me
and it seems this one model uses a different pump and it looks like the one you ordered is correct
Dave
Thanks Dave, the heat pump I ordered is model NR. 651956. You are saying this is correct for dishwasher model ending in “51”, or are you saying I need the heat pump NR. 12014980?

Participantelectrofix wrote:well thats an odd one. not listed on the bosch spares site
you would need to ring Bosch to confirm the correct part no
the highest model listed is /34 and yours is /51 and /34 uses 651956
Dave
Thanks Dave, appreciate your effort. Is it likely that if it fits the same model ending in 34, that it will fit? As mentioned another ebay seller said it would fit that is why I purchased it. Do you know where to get a step by step instructions of how to change this part?

ParticipantHello, thank you all again. I wrote a seller and they said that part number 651956 is what I need and when I put it in ebay that part came up. I just went on the part listing page and it really does seem my model is not in the list. This makes no sense to me. I have attached the model number and message, thanks

ParticipantHey thank you very much for your help all of you. The machine was purchased in the UK and shipped to the Caribbean. Hence I could not mess around as almost all signs pointed toward the heat pump, I already got that one on ebay, it is being shipped to me. I looked on you tube but can not find any instructions specifically to that model, there are a few others, some seem easy to follow some more complicated so don’t know what to do when the part is here. Thanks and regards

ParticipantNo I mean is there a step by step instructions or video which shows how to change the hot water pump. I am not that technical savy. Thanks

ParticipantNo I meant the heat pump, the light is flashing and no hot water, so definately seems to be that. BW

ParticipantThanks very much Dave, now this makes total sense, I do think that light was flashing. Do you know where I can get a step by step guide to change the pump for that model, a video would even be best? Appreciate it!

ParticipantThanks Kaibart, So why is the dishwasher empty with no water when the error comes on, after the first cycle before it is finished?
