Re: Fisher & Paykel versus the rest.
We bought one of their ovens just over two years ago because of it having two double ovens. Worst mistake we made it does not cook particularly well and is so hard to keep clean. Whow betide any one who does not clean it thoroughly after every use it fills the kitchen with smoke when ever you open the door. Final straw was the exploding glass door over Christmas. Just warming the oven when it went off like an explosion. I can honestly say we have never had an appliance which is so useless at what it is designed for. Customer service, well more like dis-service were not what exactly what you might call helpful. “It’s you problem go and sort it with our local agent and we are not paying anything”.
Having paid a lot of money over what may be considered a normal oven, expecting to have it for a long time, we rather naively thought we would get something better. C’est la vie, but from our experience avoid at all costs.
