Whoops – I was looking at the ISE5 but am shocked by the 60dB. That is noisy given that dBs are exponential. Most of the cheap ones in the shops are under 56dB many around 54dB.
Hmmm food for thought as the reviews on Miele’s customer service are poor but if the machine works who cares after 10 years Id probably want a change of machine anyway.
Do any owners have any comments? It will be placed on a concrete floor. My Blomberg is actually quiet during the wash but I can only use the 600 spin because the 1300 sounds like a rocket and bounces around so much it is quite scary.

I was in Comet yesterday, and after being seduced by the Black LG (But am old enough to recognise a one night stand rather than true love) but can’t afford it anyway, I looked at the Haier. One glance at the instruction manual tells you its unreliable. If they can’t even spend money on real paper (remember Izal toilet paper from schools and hospitals – this is the upgrade) and the quality of information you know not to touch this one.
And I know nothing about machines.
