    Thanks for the reply. I have not inspected the appliance myself, I asked if the compressor was running continously and the answer was unknown as it is quite quiet.

    I will have to check myself, I suppose.

    What makes you think it won’t be the thermostat? (not flame bait, just interested in the diagnostic procedure)
