ParticipantHello once again 🙂
I have linked out the failed switch contacts and am now as sure as I can be that mains is reaching the control board.
The mains into the board is a 3 way mini edge connector with three brown wires which only go to the main switch and door switch. 1 & 3 go live on main switch made, and when the door switch is made 1 & 2 go live in addition to 1 & 3. (common neutral and 2 live?)But still there is no sign of life 🙁
Is it possible the switch failure has spiked the board and killed it?
Cheers for now, Goffy.

ParticipantThanks again Dave.
I have been doing some more digging and have identified all of the connections to the board. the 3 small brown connector goes to the mains switch and the door switch, the small brown from the door SW to the board seems to be dead, so it appears that part of the mains switch function has failed. A new switch is MUCH cheaper than a control board so I am very inclined to buy another switch and take it from there.
Regards, Goffy.

ParticipantThanks for your input Dave, I have now opened it up and there is no sign of damage, either visually or nasally 😉
