Hi All

Just been working on a similar Problem.

Discovered the following Error codes

E1 Fridge internal sensor fault

to fix replace sensor in fridge compartment

E2 Fridge Defrost sensor fault

to fix replace sensor buried in insulation behind back wall of fridge compartment steps below

E3 Freezer internal sensor fault

to fix replace sensor in freezer compartment

Parts are available from Bosch price today @ £ 11.84

Tools for E2
Marker
Very sharp knife
Pick (screw driver will do)

Steps for E2
With marker scribe two parallel lines horizontally 180mm and 270mm from top of fridge/freezer
Next scribe two vertical lines 70mm and 200mm from right wall of fridge
(arrow impression on paper covering insulation marks the spot)
With knife cut into paper and insulation about 10mm deep.
Next dig out the rest of the insulation until the sensor casing is exposed. now remove case by sliding out of holding slots and renew sensor.
The rest is just the above in reverse order. Fill recess in insulation with expanded foam and foil tape.
